New S207 Swiss Turn Takes Center Stage at Tsugami/Rem Sales IMTS Booth S-9410

Rem Sales, LLC of Windsor, Connecticut will introduce the newest CNC Precision Automatic Lathe from Tsugami Corporation at IMTS. Representatives from Rem Sales first viewed the new S207 sliding headstock lathe or “Swiss Turn” in July at Tsugami Corporation’s Technical Fair in Nagaoka City, Japan.  The S207’s appearance at IMTS marks its North American debut.

The S207 joins the S205 and S206 models in the new S Series line, introduced by Tsugami and Rem Sales earlier this year. Like the other models in the S Series line, the S207 has a modular tool zone. Cartridge type live tools can be moved from main to sub spindle quickly and easily.  

The S207 offers sub spindle Y-axis movement.  With live cross and face tools for both main and sub spindles, the S207 is capable of precision machining parts with complex features, complete from bar stock.  It is differentiated from the S205 and S206 by B-axis live tools, providing enhanced machining capabilities.


“The addition of B-axis milling capability to the S207 is a direct response to market demand for small precision sculpted shapes,” explains REM Sales national sales manager, Scott Anthony.

The new Tsugami S207 Swiss Turn will be placed under the spotlight, front and center, in Booth S-9410.
