The Robert E. Morris Company to Exhibit at EASTEC
REGISTER ONLINE TO ATTEND EASTEC
[Windsor, CT: March 22, 2010] The Robert E. Morris Company of Windsor, Connecticut will participate in EASTEC 2010, May 25th through May 27th, according to a company spokesperson. The New England machine tool distributor plans to exhibit advanced machine tools and related technology from Okuma Corporation, Tsugami, The Hardinge Group, Trumpf TruMark Laser Marking Systems, and Microlution.
“Area manufacturers continue to seek cost-effective technology upgrades that increase productivity,” stated Aaron Hornyak, company president. “We intend to exhibit new and proven productivity enhancing technologies at EASTEC. Our applications engineers and product specialists will be available throughout the show to help evaluate the costs/benefits of different alternatives. Our experienced service specialists will be available to address any service or parts questions, too. ”
Live cutting demos will be held on several machine tools: the new Bridgeport GX 1000 Vertical Machining Center and new T-42 Super Precision Turning Center from The Hardinge Group; the new Tsugami S206 Swiss turn; the Tsugami BH38 combination turret/gang machine, and the extremely compact Microlution 5100-S 5-axis micro machining center.
Tooling, accessories and software from Caron Engineering, EB Manufacturing, Kennametal, Koma Precision, MP Systems, Rego-Fix, Renishaw, Royal Products, SMW Autoblok, and other companies will be integrated into many of the live demos and machines on display.
The Robert E. Morris Company also plans to exhibit the LB3000EX-MYW from the respected Okuma LB-EX Series of CNC lathes, and the new Okuma M460VE CNC vertical machining center, while Trumpf product specialists will demonstrate versatile and high-quality infrared (1062nm) fiber laser marking technology on the Trumpf TruMark 5020.
The Kellenberger Kel-Vista CNC universal grinder from The Hardinge Group will round out the technology display in the distributor’s booth.
EASTEC is largest manufacturing event on the east coast, organized annually by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. It will be held at the Eastern States Exposition Grounds in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The Robert E.
