New Equipment Installations
We Guide the Process for You
The Robert E. Morris Company's customer focused staff will contact you once the estimated delivery date of your new machine is known. Our team will inform you of what actions to take at your location before the machine arrives and run through the checklist with you. Is your building easily accessible? Is the loading dock door high enough and wide enough to accommodate the incoming machine? Are power and air lines available? With our years of experience, we know what questions to ask and provide valuable guidance to you throughout the installation process.
Getting the most out of your new machine sometimes requires installation of custom workholding, toolholders, and a wide range of options and accessories. Our customer service coordinators schedule those customizations that need to be completed in our Windsor, Connecticut technical center before installation so that the machine delivered is exactly what you expected.
Leading the installation and startup process is a skilled Morris Productivity Specialist who continues to be your partner throughout your machine's lifecycle. Delivery and Installation
We Make Sure It's Done Right
Your new machine is prepped and ready. Any customizations are complete and the delivery date is confirmed. Your facility is prepared for the day and you are anxiously awaiting arrival of your new equipment. Our job is to make sure that delivery and installation go smoothly and according to plan!
Our customer service coordinator schedules a trained service technician to visit your facility on the day of delivery or immediately thereafter. Before any machine is powered up, our service technician inspects, levels, and cleans it. Coolant and accessories are added. Your new machine is turned on after all installation steps, including testing, are sucessfully completed.

Will it be held machine side, at your facility? Is the size of your group and scope of training more conducive to a classroom setting with hands-on demos and training? Our Windsor, Connecticut technical center is ideally suited to large group programs.
We and many of our other machine tool brands provide optional applications engineering training upon request. Read more about Engineering Services.
